Get out and Do the things
Manny Talks Shooting is one of the most known shooting podcasts in the competition shooting community today. We here at Manny Talks Shooting are greatly proud of the community and following that we have bult in the time we have been doing this. This show is proudly sponsored by D2 Custom or D2C as they are also know as. D2 Custom is owned by my friend Dan Heitzenrater. Dan is a skilled machinist by trade, he then decided to use his skills and start making guns for himself when he started in USPSA. All things led from there and now is a full time custom 2011 builder. Dan specializes in making fantastic open guns, along with limited and limited optics 2011’s. Make sure to checkout the podcast episode I did with Dan here.
The Beginning of the podcast
The 1st episode was released February 8th 2021. In the beginning on 2021, I decided that I wanted a way to talk to other competition shooters to help myself improve in the sport. So instead of asking them a bunch of question in their DMs. I came up with the idea to start a podcast as my way to talk these individuals. That is when the Manny Talks Shooting Podcast was born. I never knew it would grow to this level that it is today. Since then we have become a staple in the practical shooting podcast space.
People tune in every Monday morning to check out the show. During the show I sit down with a guest and talk about them and their journey in practical shooting. My goal is to try to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. I want the experience for the guest and listeners is that we are just relaxing and chatting after a match. We have many people from different walks of life on the podcast. We have your normal everyday kind of folks to your professional shooters. Everyone has story to share and we find it important to share that story. We talk to the everyone from the nationals champions to the local guys just out here for fun.
